Nick O’Hara is a communications strategist and avid walker who splits his time between southern England and northeastern Spain. He has more than 20 years’ of experience leading public affairs and PR in senior roles for a number of highly respected organizations, advising senior executives on political, policy and communications issues. He is a former UK civil servant who has delivered high-impact strategic communication campaigns across a range of sectors, in both agency and in-house settings. Nick’s passion is writing; he has been published in Salon, The Irish Post and Breakwater Review. He recently wrote and produced the docuseries podcast Gridlocked: Why the 21st Century is broken and how to fix it.
Mark Havenner
Santa Monica
Mark Havenner is a marketing and corporate communications strategist who lives in Santa Monica. He has a marketing career spanning 20 years both in agency and in-house environments for a variety of industries. His roots are in digital marketing but throughout his tenure has focused on omnichannel marketing, strategic content marketing, corporate messaging and positioning, and executive thought leadership. Mark is an author and tabletop game designer and spends his free time at nerd conventions or paddleboarding in Santa Monica Bay.
